Hello Again Everyone,
This was such a fun week with Christmas and all but man it felt so
good to get back into missionary work this weekend. 2 days off felt so
weird… We had a fun Christmas Eve caroling with our zone and a good
Christmas Eve dinner with our Stake President and his family. Then on
Christmas we spent the morning opening presents and house hoping
between all our fun members houses. Our ward took great care of us. It
was a fun day.
Miracles have been happening in our ward. I don’t know what happened
to everyone but our bishop has been pushing missionary work harder
than ever the last few weeks and we have so many members who have
responded and put missionary work towards the top of their priority
list and things are getting done. Our ward council made a goal that we
would visit every family on our ward list before the end of the year
and so on Saturdays a few members have split up to visit less active
families. This past week a few guys were out and found so many people
who wanted to learn more. They went to go find these less actives and
found out they moved but the new move ins were interested so we were
able to contact them this week and turns out they are all pretty
solid. SOOOO COOL how this is all happening. Our ward is literally
knocking doors for us! I LOVE IT!!
We have also been going around to all our active families and teaching
them the Restoration and so many referrals have come from us doing
this as well. On my mission I have learned that if you are doing
missionary work right then finding should be so easy because the
members will be doing it for you. All of my success on my mission has
come from working closely with members and I know that this is the
inspired way.
Reading through the testimony book that my family made me has been so
great! Can’t thank you guys enough for that amazing present. Jayci
said something in her testimony that has stuck with me all week. She
said, “the gospel will bring happiness to every life it touches.” We
need to all make it our goal that everyone we meet can feel of Christ
love when they talk to us. This gospel is the way to happiness and
everyone we meet needs to know that. Let them feel the love our Savior
has for them through you. You never know the lives you touch each day
but as members of the restored gospel we have a light that we need to
share. We are the examples that the world needs. Don’t ever forget it!
šŸ™‚ Love you all so much. I hope you had a great Christmas and happy New Year!!
